Team Jalapeño made their way down to Durban for the J22 KZN Provincials today.

Pierre and Allyssa had an early start, towing Jalapeño to arrive at Point Yacht Club midday. They made quick work of putting her mast up and putting her in the water with the help of Luke and the Crane Operating team – Thanks Gentlemen!

The rest of the team only left Pretoria /Johannesburg a little later after running numerous errands and collecting Keira after her English exam (which is reported to have an A+ result in the post)!

The roads were busy with numerous truck accidents, narrow roads and strong winds.

Randolph, Petro, Keira and Bronwen joined Pierre and Allyssa at the guest house, quickly diving into an assortment of delicious pastas arranged by Pierre!

A little bit of sail trim was discussed and reviewed before an early night all around… 

Day 1 has sprung, we are up and ready to get rigged!
